Magnus Myhr’s work with dance and theatre often originates in personal experience. Active since 2007, his themes include youth, gender and innate human vanity. He received the prestigious Trondheim Prize in 2014 for the best stage production of the year for his piece I sat on a rock and looked at the ocean.
Born 1985 in Trondheim, based in Oslo. Magnus Myhr has worked as a dancer and a performer/actor since 2007. He holds a BA in modern and contemporary dance from Oslo National Academy of the Arts - KHiO. His own work is rooted in his personal experiences, and he is especially interested in the poetic and perceptible powers of the body.
